This policy describes the free version of Tuga Ninja, with no ads or in-app purchases.
Playing with or without an account
You can play without creating a game account. Your local high score and preferences stay on your device. To join the online leaderboard, you need to sign in and choose a nickname. Your device stores technical session data needed to recover a previous sign-in and may keep a result awaiting submission.
Account and online leaderboard
We use account and session identifiers, nickname, optional country or territory, best score and ranking. To validate participating games, we process game identifiers and time, duration, points, cuts, combos, penalties and events needed to check the result and prevent duplicate submissions.
Other players may see your nickname, country/flag, score and ranking. Each leaderboard entry also includes a technical player identifier. Use a pseudonym. You choose your country; it is not obtained from GPS, and you may leave it blank. Practice and earlier local games are not submitted for competition.
Sign-in uses Unity Player Accounts in your browser. This service collects your email address and generates a global Unity account identifier. Unity is an independent data controller for that account service, under its own privacy policy. The game does not store your email or password in your leaderboard profile; the sign-in provider may also process data needed to manage your account. We use Unity Authentication, Cloud Code, Cloud Save and Leaderboards for authentication, validation and storage.
Unity's published information about Player Accounts also declares the collection of approximate location for that service's functionality. This is separate from the country or flag you choose for your profile. That documentation does not specify how this location is obtained, whether it is shared, or a specific retention period for it.
Technical data and support requests
When requesting the game's online functions, Unity Cloud Code sends an app installation identifier. This identifier is created and stored on your device and is used across requests and sessions for the service's functionality. It is separate from the global Unity account identifier and can be associated with your account in authenticated requests.
The game receives Unity account notices and displays their text, date and case, project and player references. To avoid repeating notices already read, Tuga Ninja stores local read markers and the date of the latest read notice, separately for each account. It does not store a persistent copy of notice text. These local markers may remain with device preferences.
Unity services may receive technical request data, such as IP addresses, even before you sign in to an account. Unity Player Accounts also processes usage data for its service's functionality and analytics. We have not added our own behavioral analytics events using Unity Analytics.
If you contact support, we process your email, name and the information you choose to send, together with our replies, to handle your request. Our support contact uses Gmail, a Google service. Avoid including personal information that is not needed.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data needed to provide the features you request: managing your account, validating and publishing your result, and responding to support requests. Where applicable, this processing is based on providing the service or performing our contract with you. We use validation and security records to protect the game against abuse, considering our legitimate interests and your rights. We process data to meet legal obligations when they apply. Processing that depends on consent follows that choice; withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
How long do we keep data?
Your profile and online best score remain while maintained in the service or until an applicable deletion request. They do not currently have automatic expiry after inactivity.
An authorized game has seven days to be submitted. This does not mean that every copy is deleted on day seven: cleanup is limited during subsequent games and also relies on administrative maintenance. Your device may retain the best pending result until submission, invalidation or later cleanup.
A technical deletion marker prevents delayed operations from writing the data again; it may remain until administrative cleanup. Infrastructure logs and copies follow the services' own retention. Support messages are retained while needed to respond to and follow up on requests or meet applicable obligations.
Providers and international transfers
Unity processes data for game services. Google provides support email (Gmail) and hosting for these pages (Firebase Hosting), which may receive technical request data, such as an IP address. Some processing may occur outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Transfer and protection mechanisms in the providers' agreements and policies and applicable law apply; we do not claim that all data remains exclusively in Portugal or the European Union.
See Unity's privacy policy for players and Google's privacy policy.
Deleting your account and exercising your rights
In Conta → Apagar dados do jogo (Account → Delete game data), you can remove your profile, score, covered game records and Tuga Ninja authentication identity when the process completes successfully. The pending result for that account on the device is also removed. If an error occurs, try again or contact us. That button does not delete every local high score, preference or technical marker.
This does not delete your global Unity Player Accounts account. Use Unity's account deletion page for that account. Deleting the global account also does not replace a request concerning Tuga Ninja data.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy/data portability, deletion of your account and associated data, restriction or objection to processing, and review consent. Email tuganinja.suporte@gmail.com, even if you cannot access the game; we may request proportionate information to verify your identity, without asking for passwords. You may complain to the relevant authority, including CNPD in Portugal or ANPD in Brazil.
Minors
The game is not presented as a service primarily directed at children. This does not remove minors' rights or applicable consent or supervision requirements. If you are responsible for a minor and have a question or request about their data, contact us.
